Restaurants · Cafés · Guesthouses · Hotels · Resorts
Run your restaurant or hotel on one system.
Guests order from a QR code, the kitchen sees it the same second, the till takes cash, card, transfer or the room, and the books write themselves. Made in the Maldives.

The product
Four parts. Take what you need.
A café takes the restaurant part. A guesthouse adds the hotel. Finance comes when you want the books in the same place.

- QR ordering. One QR code per table.
- Kitchen & bar screens. Food to the kitchen, drinks to the bar, courses held and fired.
- Waiter handheld. Orders read back line by line, held courses, move or merge tables, split pay, the bill as a picture on WhatsApp — on a phone or an iPad..

- Driver page. A private link per driver: the order, the amount to collect and the pin.
- Delivery desk in the till. Orders taken by phone, drivers assigned, cash counted in.
- Loyalty. Points per rufiyaa spent, turned into a voucher code in the customer’s app.
Dhow Hotel
Front desk, housekeeping and transfers for guesthouses, hotels and resorts.
- Front desk. Arrivals, walk-ins, rooms by state, the folio, deposits, discounts with a reason, check-out with a numbered tax invoice.
- Housekeeping. Each housekeeper sees her rooms in the order they are needed and taps them clean.
- Transfers. Speedboat and seaplane runs with their manifests, the airport rep’s list, live boats on a map, and a flight delay flagged before the boat leaves..
- Works with your restaurant. A guest charges dinner to the room from the table; the front desk sees it on the folio at once.
Rooms 5 ready · 2 to clean

Why it feels simple
Every screen reads the same order.
The guest’s phone, the waiter’s handheld, the till, the kitchen screen, the manager’s app and the books share one record. Nothing is typed twice, nothing is out of date, and a room charge from the table is on the folio before the guest stands up.
That is also why you can start with the till alone and add QR ordering, delivery or the hotel later: they join the same order, not a new system.
Who it’s for
Pick your business.
See what Dhow does for a place like yours, and where to start.
A café that runs itself between the coffees.
A counter, a few tables and a steady queue. Dhow gives you a till that opens in a minute, QR ordering for the tables, and a takeaway link to share on Instagram — without a card machine for every order.
- Orders at the counter and the tableThe till and the table QR codes read the same menu; a guest at a table orders and pays from their phone.
- Takeaway without the phone callsCustomers order on your link, choose a pickup time the kitchen can make, and get a WhatsApp when it is ready.
- Receipts without a printerA paid bill sends its own receipt on WhatsApp or Viber.
- A menu with photos in an afternoonPhotograph your printed menu and the system reads it; polish dish photos with the AI add-on.
Made for the Maldives
The things a foreign system gets wrong, right.
Dhow was built on an island, for the taxes, banks, boats and messaging apps of this country.
- Rufiyaa and dollarsPrices in MVR, dollars on the same bill at your rate. A deal set in rufiyaa charges exactly that, to the laari.
- TGST or GST, service chargeA resort restaurant charges 17% TGST and 10% service charge; a café on an island charges 8% GST. Set once; every price, bill and filing follows.
- BML and MIB transfersGuests pay by transfer with a QR code and the exact amount. With the bank-feed add-on the transfer matches the bill by itself.
- WhatsApp and ViberReceipts, bills, the driver’s pin and the room-link code go on the app your guests already use.
- Boats, seaplanes and the airportTransfers read Velana’s own flight board; a delay reaches the desk and the boat crew before the guest lands.
- Green Tax and the registersWorked out from nationality and dates at check-in; the guest register and the TGST filing come from the same records.
Where it comes from
Built alongside a real restaurant and a real hotel.
SORA Restaurant & Bar · ARIA Beach, Ukulhas
Dhow was built at ARIA Beach, Ukulhas — a nine-room guesthouse with a beach restaurant — with its restaurant, front desk, housekeeping, transfers and books, and goes into service there first.
- Guests order from the table QR, the kiosk and the takeaway link
- The kitchen and bar run on screens
- Check-in on a phone; housekeeping and the supervisor on theirs
- Boats and the airport rep on the Transfers app
- The books post every day by themselves

Questions
Before you ask.
Do I need special hardware?
No. The till runs in a browser on any laptop, Windows POS or tablet; waiters use their own phones; kitchen screens are any tablet or TV with a browser. Receipt and kitchen printers are optional.
Does it work when the internet drops?
Dhow runs on a server, so each screen needs a connection. On an island we recommend a second connection (a mobile hotspot) for the till. Working offline is on our list, not in the product today.
Is there a commission on orders?
No. QR ordering, takeaway and delivery are yours at a flat price. Card and bank fees are between you and your bank.
What does it cost?
Every plan starts with a 30-day free trial, no card needed. The full restaurant is Rf 600 per outlet a month and hotels are Rf 30 per room a month; our first 3 customers pay nothing for their first year. See Pricing.
How long does setup take?
Most restaurants are taking orders the same afternoon: the wizard reads your printed menu, you add tables as “1-12”, and the first order is a test you run yourself.
